Welcome to Select Thoroughbreds

ImageWelcome to Select Thoroughbreds, an organisation which provides for great pleasure and relaxation through thoroughbred ownership and the sport of racing.

The site has been developed and designed predominantly with the interests of racehorse owners/potential owners foremost on our minds. Whether you are contemplating ownership for the first time, a novice owner or a seasoned campaigner, we know that this site can provide you with the information relevant to your needs.

You may visit our website as a guest and access the guest areas of our forums where you can interact with members of Select Thoroughbreds. Alternatively, you may become a member of our website. Membership on the Select Thoroughbreds' website is free and entitles you to numerous benefits.

Members are given access to our closed forum areas where they can interact with other racing enthusiasts. Topics discussed include all and any associated with the racing industry and racehorse syndication. General discussion areas are provided to allow members to discuss or raise topics of interest or pose questions to those more experienced in the industry.

Members receive our regular newsletters, mail-outs and are privy to special offers and deals as released. Select Thoroughbreds also offers members direct news feeds and pod-casts, enabling them to keep abreast of the current news concerning the racing industry.

Members may also survey a particular industry issue by posting a question and a range of answers. Select Thoroughbreds will consider your question and answers for inclusion in the polls area for voting. Consequently all visitors to this website will be permitted to vote in these polls and view the results

Only owners of Select Thoroughbreds' promoted horses are privileged in that, in addition to accessing all other forum areas, may if they so desire, access exclusive 'partnership/syndicate' forums where they may interrelate with other co-owners of their horse. These exclusive 'partnership/syndicate' forums will be available for each horse.  Owners will be able to access horse updates and discuss matters pertaining to their own horse. They may also network, cooperate and confer on other industry topics in private amongst themselves.  There is a syndicate manager for each syndicate who moderates the forum area; his role is to communicate with other syndicate members on all matters of importance regarding their particular horse.

Forums are a great way to interact and network with the racing fraternity:

Can't afford a share in a horse on your own but would like to get involved?

It's as easy as posting the question on our forum to determine how many others may want to join in and form a syndicate!

Guests who do not wish to become members are still able to subscribe to join our mailing list only and obtain regular newsletters and updates regarding the industry.

We thank you for visiting our website and encourage you to explore the many features the site has to offer.

Newsflash

Select Thoroughbreds Newsflash

An Easy Choice For Breeders An Easy Choice For Breeders Easy Choice is the impeccably bred son of Redoute's Choice who is battling the lead for Australia's leading sire with Encosta de Lago. Easy Choice is the full brother of freshman stallion Not A Single Doubt with a 2009 service fee of $13,750.   His first progeny are showing great promise resulting in a total of nine winners thus far - that means making nine groups of owners very happy indeed -  the best of any first-season sire!    Easy Choice will begin his eagerly anticipated stud duties in 2009 at the home of Noor Elaine Farm and if he can go close to reproducing the stats of his full brother, his 2009 service fee of $3,300 will represent a good spend for those in search of the alternative. 27/05/09
